The Butcher Bowl was designed for a one-night event during New York Design Week, Let Them Eat Off The Plate, curated by Caleb Engstrom for Superhouse. Each side is carved out into shallow bowls, allowing the form of the butcher block to warp and skew as it negotiates the curved edges. This also allows for the food to be presented on either side of the plate, or perhaps even flipped over and used twice in one sitting.
